The state of Pennsylvania mandates that all students in grades K, 6, and 11 have a physical exam completed.  Students have the option of fulfilling this requirement by having a physical exam completed by a private physician, by completing the physical required by the PIAA to participate in interscholastic athletics, or by having a physical completed by the school physician, Dr. Shay, who provides this service on dates scheduled during the school year.
