  • My child is new to ELCO, will they be assigned a “buddy” to help show them around the school?

    Posted by:

Each grade level provides support to students new to the District as needed and appropriate. At the Elementary level (K-5th), students are assigned a friend in their classroom to help them navigate the classroom and school.  At the Middle School level (6th-8th), students are assigned a peer who has a similar schedule to help them navigate the school. High School (9th-12th) students new to the District will be offered the option of being assigned a peer to assist with their transition.  School counselors also provide support to students new to the District.
