Will parents have the option to purchase insurance for the iPads?
Posted by:No, the District will not be offering insurance for iPad for the 2020-21 school year. Accidental damage will be repaired and costs will be covered by the School District this school year. In the rare event that a student deliberately damages an iPad, the family will be responsible for the cost of the repair.

How will the District determine whether a classroom, school, or the entire District needs to close?
Posted by:The District will collaborate closely with the PA Department of Health (DoH) if a positive case of COVID-19 involving a student or staff member is identified. The DoH will provide guidance and advice related to cleaning and disinfection, contact tracing and quarantine recommendations, and closing certain areas of the schools or an entire school building. The PA Department of Education has released some guidance to districts located HERE.

Posted by:Yes. The PA Department of Education has indicated that these assessments will be administered this school year.

Will hand sanitizer be available for student and staff use?
Posted by:Yes! The District's custodial staff has an ample amount of hand sanitizer (65% alcohol or greater), hand soap, and paper towels in each building for use by students and staff.

Are water bottles allowed in school?
Posted by:Yes. Water fountains have been turned off as per the Governor’s order and the District has installed water bottle fillers in all buildings. Students may bring their own water bottle to fill when necessary.
