Hello Families!  

I am so excited to be at Fort Zeller full time this year, after 4 years of splitting my time between Fort Zeller and Jackson!  I have so many exciting new ideas and plans for the year since I will have more time with our students!  But first: a little bit about me!

I have been working in education for 12 years (this is my 5th year at ELCO) and working with primary students is my favorite!  I graduated from Bloomsburg University in 2010 with my Bachelor's Degree in English and then in 2012 with my Master's degree in School Counseling.  Before coming to ELCO, I worked as a K-5 School Counselor, a Mental Health Consultant/SAP Liaison, and a Behavior Specialist.  Being able to work in a K-2 building as a school counselor is a dream come true!

When I'm not here at school, I'm at home with my husband and 2 kids.  My daughter is 7 and my son is 3 and they both keep me very busy.  We like to be outside as much as possible.  Walking, riding bikes, and hiking are how we spend much of our time; although, we do like to stay home and watch movies sometimes too!  My hobbies include backpacking (long distance hiking), traveling as much as I can, and reading.  

Again, I am so happy to be working in one place for the first time and can't wait to get to know all our kiddos and families better!
