Hello!  My name is Katherine Brosius and I am the new school counselor at Jackson and Fort Zeller Elementary Schools!  I am so excited to be here and can't wait to get to know all of our students and families!

A little bit about me:  I grew up in a small town in Dauphin County and graduated from Upper Dauphin High School in 2006.  I attended Bloomsburg University where I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Literature in 2010 and my Masters of Education in Elementary and Seondary School Counseling Degree in 2012.  Shortly after graduating, I began working as an elementary school counselor in a small, rural school in Snyder county. While there, I worked with students in grades K-5.  After four years there, I moved closer to home and spent a year working with an outside agency as a SAP Team liasion in numerous elementary schools.  I then spent two years working as an elementary behavior specialist with students in grades K-6.  I loved both of those jobs but always knew that school counseling was my real joy! And here I am, back at it!

In my free time, I love hanging out with my husband, other family and friends, going hiking and backpacking, and traveling as much as we can! We are currently expecting our first child, a boy, in April!  We are so excited and can't wait to share pictures of him with all of you!
