Yes, as per Board policy 204, observance of a religious holiday that is observed by a bona fide religious group is considered excused/lawful with prior written parental request. If your family will be observing a religious holiday on a scheduled school day, contact your child's building principal.

An excuse must be completed within three (3) days of your child's return to school following their absence. You can easily complete a form on your computer, tablet, or smart phone by logging into the ParentSchool Parent Portal.
