Mrs. Nichole McCullough

Hi! My name is Nichole McCullough and I am the school counselor at the Intermediate School. The 2023-2024 school year is my sixth year working at the Intermediate School and my seventh year as a school counselor. While I now live in Dauphin County and work in Lebanon County, I originate from Carroll County, Maryland where my family moved to in 2002. After graduating from Century High School, I attended Bridgewater College in Virginia and completed my Bachelors of Science in Psychology. At Bridgewater College, I learned that I wanted to have a career in a helping profession and soon after narrowed my career choice down to school counseling.

Soon after graduating, I moved to Pennsylvania and began working for Wellspan Philhaven as a TSS (theraputic support staff). In this position, I worked with students who had diagnoses such as ADHD, Autism, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, and Anxiety. I helped these students meet their behavioral goals in school, in the community, and at home. In my first year as a TSS, I attended McDaniel College and later attended and graduated from Millersville University with a Masters of Education in School Counseling. After some time off from schooling, I decided to go back to get my Master of Arts in Conflict Resolution from PennWest University. I am certified as a school counselor from kindergarten to the 12th grade. I enjoyed interning in the ELCO school district back in 2014 and have enjoyed seeing many students succeed.

Besides my passion in school counseling, I enjoy hanging out with my husband and two dogs Dash and Ellie, friends and family, traveling to other states and countries, and reading any type of book. With my brother being active duty Coast Guard and my father being retired Coast Guard, I have gotten the chance to visit and see a lot of what our country has to offer. Finally, I am thrilled to become part of the ELCO community and family. I look forward to working with each student and family.

Mrs. Taylor Cirulli

Hello! My name is Taylor Cirulli and I am the new school counselor at ELCO Intermediate School.

This is my first year as a school counselor and I am eager to work with all students and their families. After graduating high school I attended Kutztown University, where I received my Bachelors of Science degree in General Psychology. Right after, I began working at the Children’s Home of Reading as a Youth Behavioral Specialist helping adolescent males with behavioral/emotional disturbances and sexual deviance. I also worked as a therapeutic support staff (TSS) offering services both in the home and school. I then decided to further my education and received my Masters of Arts in Marriage, Couples, and Family Counseling from Kutztown University. For the last few years I worked as a mental health therapist in an outpatient setting. I recently discovered my passion for wanting to help children in a school setting, and attended Gwynedd Mercy University, where I received my school counseling certification for Kindergarten through 12th grade.  I am eager to utilize the skills that I have acquired throughout the years, while learning new skills in order to help all students succeed.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our French bulldog Frenchie, traveling, hiking, and playing pickleball. We are also expecting our first child in the Spring of 2024. I also love spending time with family and friends, and greatly enjoy shopping, crafting, and reading.
