CONCLUSION

Present the information you learned along the way in any of these formats. Each team member must complete a portion of your presentation. Each presentation should include information on:
  • The early explorers of Antarctica - timelines, charts, biographies, etc.
  • A discussion of Antarctic science and what it is like to live in Antarctica.
  • The types of animals that can be found in and around Antarctica.
  • The history of the Antarctic continent, both before and after human contact.
Choose one of the following formats to present your information:
  • Do a 30 minute group presentation using PowerPoint.
  • Create a web site.
  • Create a game based on Antarctic exploration and living conditions. Be sure to include all topics above. Your game must include at least 100 questions and answers.
  • Make a video of an Antarctic adventurer describing his life on the continent. Be sure to include all topics above. You will need to turn in the script.
  • Write a group report and present it to class using the chalkboard, overhead transparencies, and any other props you may need.
