| 1. Form a group of like minded adventurers. Decide who will present each research topic to the class. You will use class time to find the answers to these questions. In addition to conducting this research, each day you will be given a problem to solve as a group. Your answers must be given to your teacher. Discover the history of Antarctica before humans came and compare that with the effect humans have had on the 7th continent. What are Antarctica's most important resources? What is the Antarctic Treaty? What do you think will happen to Antarctica in the future? |

Can you get any ideas from previous explorers? 4. Complete the Crashed on the Moon activity. 5. Select a starting point. 6. Purchase your supplies for the race. 7. Choose a presentation type from the list in the Conclusion section. Assign daily duties to each group member.
