This page is designed to help and inform all students of my 12th grade world history II class of assignments and projects throughout the year. I have included a syllabus, class schedule, list of extra credit activities and links to various research sites and special surprises. It is my goal that you will never be uninformed of any tests, quizzes or assignments that may have been given in class. During the course of the year, I will be emailing you of any updates to the page and hopefully be able to give each student a password to be able to access a private account in which your grade is kept as well as any assignments you might be missing. At the very bottom of the page is a link to my elective classes historians page. If you wish to do work on one of these web pages, feel free to say something to me about it and we will see about maybe giving you extra credit for it.

Syllabus- This is almost the same syllabus that was used for last years course but I have made some changes for the coming year.

Text- We will be using the third edition of Western Civilizationby Jackson Spielvogel. This is a freshman college text that we used in class the last two semesters of last year. It will take a chapter or two to get used to but I have faith in you.

Class Schedule- Here is hopefully the basic breakdown of what I hope to cover during the year with a time frame of when we will get there. It won't be perfect but will give you a good idea where we should be at various times of the year.

Homework Page- This is the place in which you can find your homework assignments for the week.

Student Links for World History- Here are various links to helpful sites.

Student web pages- I am hoping to have each of you prepare a basic web page dealing with various aspects of this course. If we do decide to do this I will make a page up for each of you to store your information on.

Speeches- This page contains famous speeches in audio files for you to listen to.

Books that can be done for extra credit in this class. The reports for these books must be two pages long and are worth a maximum of ten points. Here are some examples of good books that can be read.
