Senior English students
were given the assignment to prepare a demonstration speech on a skill or a hobby.
Students prepared outlines to help develop organizational skills and then they
presented to the class to enhance oral speaking skills. A unique demonstration
was given by a student and her sidekick, Storm. She exhibited how to jump the
horse as well as shared the importance of caring for the horse.

This student placed in state competition and hopes to try out for the Olympics when she turns 21. She will also be competing in a world competition in Holland and plans on bringing horses along back to train.
