Follow these steps to successfully complete your web quest.
Step 1: Click here to print off your checklist. Use it to check off each task as you proceed through this web quest.
Step 2: You and your partner choose either Iroquois or Algonquian from the following research lists. Click the Research List link to print off your PowerPoint Notebook. Step 4: Click here to download the PowerPoint Slideshow Template onto one computer (either yours or your partners). You both may work together to create a fascinating slideshow using the PowerPoint program and each other’s notes. Be prepared to share with your class and be graded according to the rubric. Make sure to go to the resources button and review the rubric to see how this will be graded.
Step 5: Click here to create a word search using at least 10 important keywords found during your research. Print it off, complete it, and keep it for your portfolio.
Step 6: Click here to download the Venn Diagram. Complete it by comparing and contrasting the Iroquois and Algonquians. You may work with your partner on this. Print it off, and keep it for your portfolio.
Step 7: Click here to download the map. Complete it by using the text book pages 30-41 of Pennsylvania Yesterday and Today. Print it off and keep it for your portfolio. Hint: There is a lot of good information in these pages that can help you with your other research tasks.
Step 8: Open up a Microsoft Word document and create a short Indian legend of your own. It must be between one-half and one-whole page, double-spaced. Be sure to teach a lesson by using a moral in your legend. Print it off and keep it for your portfolio.

Step 9: Open up GarageBand and create a short Pod Cast using your Indian Legend. Be sure to use background music and audio effects to make it an interesting listening experience. Also make sure to go to the resources button and review the rubric to see how this will be graded.
Step 10: Assemble your Portfolio. Put everything in order as it appears on your Portfolio Checklist. The Portfolio Checklist itself will be the first page.
