Jared Lee "Jerry" Yeagley graduated from Myerstown High School in 1958. While
at Myerstown High he was a three sport athlete playing soccer, basketball and
baseball. The soccer team won the District 3 Championship and the Inter District
Championship during his senior season. Jerry also participated in County Band and
Chorus. He played soccer at West Chester and graduated in 1962. During his career
at West Chester the team made it to the NCAA Semi-Finals in 1959 and 1960 and
won the National Championship in 1961. In 1963, Jerry earned his Master's degree
from the University of Pittsburgh and began coaching at the University of Indiana.
His current career record at Indiana is 455-80-37 and includes winning the NCAA
National Championship four times. Jerry is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Harold
Yeagley of Myerstown.
