Harold F. Mohn

Mr. Harold F. Mohn, a 1932 graduate of Myerstown High School and a poet of 53
years, is still writing patriotic poetry.

Mr. Mohn has written poems for dozens of publications including the Harrisburg
Patriot News, Reading Times, Lebanon Daily News, Portsmouth News in England,
The Congressional Journal and Stars and Stripes of Washington, D.C. as well as
numerous other publications throughout the United States, Canada and Europe.

Over the years, he has written programs for many patriotic ceremonies (ex. Memorial
Day Ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery) and military dedications ex.
(Dedication of Monument to Soldiers at the Battle of the Bulge in Luxembourg).

Mr. Mohn's work is displayed in Museums and Archives throughout the United
States and Europe including the Eisenhower Library in Abilene, Kansas, the Patton
Museum in Kentucky, the Utah Beach Museum in France, and the American
Military Cemetery in Holland.

Mr. Mohn has earned numerous awards: the Pennsylvania Poetry Society, 1st prize
and many medal awards from the Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge.

Mr. Mohn resides in Myerstown.
